Cleveland hosted the National Air Races from 1929-49, an extraordinary spectacle meant to showcase new developments in aviation technology. In this program, hear stories of the different races that occurred, the bold and brave pilots who performed death-defying stunts, and the benefits for the city of Cleveland and its new municipal airport. They train to help deal with an overpopulation of dragons! Kids are trained to defend against and tame dragons using Brock's amazing science-based inventions and techniques. These two, 4-hour session courses for high school seniors is taught by College Now instructors. This course is designed to prepare intended college students for success in higher education. We will discuss the differences between high school and college academics, study skills, support services, and how to navigate the college environment. Students must attend both sessions.
