Join GMPL for a howlin' good time at the 4th annual Great Pup-kin Dog Event & Costume Contest!
Bring your dog in costume Sunday, October 26th to Willow Park in Grafton between 2:00 - 4:00 for chances to win doggone good prizes in various categories! Costume categories this year are: Book Character, Super Heroes, Twins (human/canine look-alikes) and Funniest. There will also be a prize for the Top Dog- best costume over all!
Professional photographer Laura Bower will be on hand again to take pictures of the event.
Local history enthusiasts and authors Chris Smith and Paul Justy will lead participants on a walking tour of the quarry located on Indian Hollow Reservation. Hikers will meet by the restroom building at the Parson Road entrance to the park. Presenters will discuss the Sheldon farm that existed from the 1830's until 1963 when the land was obtained by the Lorain County Metro Parks.
